the heart of Wiltshire. 

 

We will be staying at the lovely Howard's house hotel an award-winning independently owned and run country hotel, nestled in the heart of an idyllic Wiltshire village.

 

Far removed from the hustle and bustle of the main roads, Teffont Evias rests in splendid seclusion – a world apart from the everyday.

 

 

RETREAT PROGRAM ( subject to changes)

 

Saturday 30th November - ARRIVALS 

 

Arrive at your leisure, official check-in is at 2.30 pm 

3.30 pm - Vegetarian afternoon tea 

5.30 pm - 7pm Early evening yoga session including some restorative poses to totally relax 

7.30 pm - Vegetarian dinner  

9 pm - Bed-time candle-lit meditation in the lounge 

 

Sunday 1st December 

 

8.30 am Breakfast and free time for a walk in the countryside (rooms to be vacated by 11 am)

11 am - 1pm  Yoga session to welcome Winter including a Thai Yoga Massage inspired mini-workshop

1pm light lunch, closing circle and goodbyes

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

YOUR CONTRACT IS WITH

Cherry Yoga 39,Rycroft Meadow, RG224QE

1. BOOKING PROCEDURE

(a) On making a booking , each person attending is accepting the terms of these Booking Conditions.

(b) Payment of a non-refundable deposit (amount varies according to specific retreat) to confirm your place.
Full price bookings require full payment to be made at least 8 weeks (if abroad), 4 weeks ( if in the UK) prior to retreat start date or immediately if booking last minute. If the outstanding payment is not received 8 or 4 weeks before the retreat dates we retain your deposit and apply the Cancellation Charge set out in Paragraph 4.

(c) For retreats taking place abroad, bookings made within 10 weeks of the date of departure, will require full payment immediately upon confirmation of the booking. Once payment has been made any subsequent cancellation will incur Cancellation Charges as set out in paragraph 4.

(d) Your booking is considered definite and a contract will exist between you and Cherry Yoga only when an email of confirmation has been sent to you. No contract will exist between us prior to our issuing the confirmation email.

(e) We reserve the right to increase the prices published prior to the time that you book your holiday. Any increase in price will be advised to you before you book the holiday.

 

2. SURCHARGES

No price increase will be made within 30 days of your departure date and in any event, we will absorb any increase which equals 2% or less of the cost of your travel arrangements.

3. Holiday/Retreat PRICES

Our holiday prices include accommodation, all meals as stipulated, all group yoga classes, all activities and trips as stipulated in the booking confirmation e-mail . 
Our prices exclude flights, travel insurance, tips, optional excursions and treatments, extra yoga tuitions, transfers from airports and train stations unless otherwise stated.

 

4. CANCELLATION BY YOU

You (or any member of your party) may cancel your holiday/retreat at any time providing that the cancellation is made by the person submitting the booking form and is communicated to us in writing. Cancellation will take effect the day such notification is received by us. As this incurs administrative costs, we will retain your deposit and, in addition, may apply cancellation charges up to the maximum shown below:-

30-70 days 75% of holiday cost ( 20-30 days if in the UK)
Less than 21 days 100% of holiday/retreat cost

 

7. CANCELLATION BY US

Cherry Yoga reserves the right in any circumstances to cancel your holiday at any time up to 10 weeks before the start date, in which case we will offer a refund in full of all monies paid for your holiday. Cherry Yoga will not be responsible for any monies you have paid for other travel such as flights or transfers , so please make sure you have adequate cancellation insurance in place.

Important Notes

(a) Compensation payments will not apply if payment for your holiday has not been received by Cherry Yoga  by the stipulated payment date.

(b) Compensation will not be paid if Cherry Yoga is forced to cancel or in any way change your holiday due to war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, or other circumstances which amount to force majeure.

8. FLIGHTS

We do not book flights for our clients. We may recommend suitable flights, trains and provide directions but Cherry Yoga is not responsible for your travel plans and arrangements. It is your responsibility to confirm your flight times and check in with your airline before your outward and return journey.

 

9. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU

(a) We accept responsibility for ensuring that the Retreats/holidays that you book with us are supplied as described and that the services we are contractually obliged to provide are to a reasonable standard.

(b) Optional trips booked locally are not our responsibility. However please note the following: -

There are risks inherent with any activity holiday and with physical exercise such as yoga. We strongly recommend that you consult your doctor before travel to advise on your ability to undertake strenuous exercise. You should make him/her and us aware of any medical condition which may affect your ability and comfort when undergoing vigorous exercise.

We ask that you complete our confidential consultation form and let us know if you have a particular pre-existing injury or medical condition when you book so that we can make sure you will be able to fully enjoy your yoga break.

 

10. COMPLAINTS

If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform a member of our team immediately, who will endeavor to put things right. If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, you must advise us in writing on your return.

 

11. LOCAL CUSTOMS

Please familiarize yourself with the local customs of the country you are visiting, especially if it is a country with conservative culture or you are visiting an "off the beaten track"locations. Clients who are deemed to be acting in a way that is inappropriate in the local environment or towards our local teams or other group members may be asked to leave. No refund will be given in this circumstance.

 

12. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a valid passport and any necessary visas and any necessary or required inoculations or other health requirements.

 

13. THE CONTRACT

This contract is made on the terms of these Booking Conditions, which are governed by English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
