I joined the Cherry Yoga group at Mapledurwell in the summer of 2016 after my previous yoga group closed. I had been practicing yoga for three years before joining Cherry Yoga as a way to ease the pain and discomfort that I suffer from a prolapsed disc. I absolutely love coming along to class each week, as Marzia obviously works hard to plan interesting class topics. I feel that I not only get a great yoga class that leaves room for me to challenge myself in particular poses, but each week I have a new insight into the world of yoga and I feel calm, flexible and mindful. I would recommend Cherry Yoga to anyone especially like me if you are carry a little more weight than you should be and you have particular body ailments you want to ease. My mindset is: if you don't use it, you'll lose it and Cherry Yoga gives me a space and time to keep my body flexible and my mind free

Cherry Yoga allows you space and time to find yourself in Yoga , clear and careful instruction guides you to achieving the positions. This is not only physical exercise but mental relaxation. I feel enabled, relaxed and peaceful after each session.

As Marzia's classes in East Stratton are in their infancy (one taster session and one weekly class so far), I thought I would be the first to comment in the hope that anyone reading this who happens to live in or near East Stratton will come along. I had to miss the taster session but my friends who did attend gave very positive feedback. Last Thursday was my first class and they were absolutely right, I loved it. Having done yoga in the past, I have been looking for a class to join which wasn't too far from where I live and was the sort of yoga I enjoy. Marzia does just that and her teaching style is excellent. Do come along and give it a try.

I have just completed a 5 week intensive beginners course.
Marzia's style of teaching, is as such that her instructions are clear and very easily understood - her holistic approach of mind, body and spirit is gently delivered and yet the overall benefits are so incredibly powerful.
I have dabbled in yoga in the past, but never quite enough to remember the movements or the significance of ‘the breath’ - the 5 week intensive course has provided me with knowledge, strength, confidence and a love of yoga that I never knew I had.
Marzia’s lesson plan always factors in relaxation / meditation - this too has allowed me to revisit and enjoy the benefits of this ancient practice.
For anyone out there looking or toying with idea of yoga, I cannot recommend the beginners intensive course enough.
Marzia is a passionate, committed teacher - I promise you, you won’t be disappointed. I leave feeling a few inches taller, stronger, sleeping better, more toned, less anxious and with joy in my heart.

I thoroughly enjoy my yoga sessions, the time goes so quickly. I am having a particularly stressful time at the moment and have been practising at home which has helped to relax me. I would never have known that Marzia had not been teaching yoga for very long she is so knowledgeable.
